Export Area Sales Manager, Europe & North Africa (ENA)


Role

Expanding international presence

You are responsible for achieving profitable growth with both existing and new customers, while gradually expanding into new territories
Your initial focus is on Southern Europe, France, and North Africa; once growth is established you will progressively expand into Eastern Europe, APAC, and other high-potential markets.
Define and implement the commercial strategy for your markets, including pricing,
forecasting, and budgeting, in close alignment with management.
You build and develop a strong network of dealers, distributors, growers, and agents, creating long-term partnerships that support sustainable growth.
Act as a trusted advisor, organizing field trials and customer visits to demonstrate product performance. Help growers navigate variety selection to find the best match for their soil and climate needs.
You work closely with R&D, supply chain, and logistics to ensure product availability and alignment with market trends and needs.
You represent the company at trade fairs and industry events, acting as brand ambassador.
You report to the Sales Manager, providing clear insights on market developments and
commercial performance.


Profile

International commercial talent, grower-centric mindset

Job requirements

5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the seed industry or closely related agricultural field. (e.g., horticultural seeds, crop protection, plant breeding, …)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, or related field.
Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
Willing to travel.
Fluent in Italian and English; other European languages (French, Spanish) are a plus.

Takes initiative, always on the lookout for sales opportunities.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset plus result driven.
Networker, natural negotiator with business acumen.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Customer- and market-driven.
Excellent understanding of business dynamics and processes.
Stress resistant and flexible.


Location

At the office in the area between Ancona, Jesi, Macerata, and Civitanova Marche; frequently traveling to the assigned market areas (+60%). Mild hybrid flexibility, including remote work options, may be an option once you have completed your initial onboarding and integration.
