credo che sia il mio albero preferito e ho una curiosità.
Normalmente li vedo così:

Pino domestico è il nome comune di Pinus pinea, dunque non c'è differenza.
Il portamento ovviamente si modifica con la crescita assumendo infine la tipica forma a ombrello.
Per riconoscere le piante giovani si ricorre all'espediente di strofinate le foglie: odorano di balsamo e di pinoli. Da adulto P. pinea differisce dal P. pinaster (nome comune = pino marittimo) per un portamento diverso in quanto la chioma del il secondo assume una forma all'incirca piramidale e disordinata rispetto al primo.
